I have had wonderful friends and business partners in the Netherlands for over 15 years. When I moved here in early 2023, I realized I had so much more to learn about Dutch culture. The past 18 months have been full of exciting discoveries, and the Buddy System has been a key part of that journey.

I was born in the Far North of Russia and spent most of my life in beautiful St. Petersburg. I graduated as a chemist and still have a passion for the field. Now, I’m thrilled to be developing my startup at Brightlands Chemelot Campus and living a comfortable yet engaging life in Sittard with my small family. One of the best things about Limburg is its unique location—you can experience a variety of cultures within just a 20 km radius.

Settling in the Netherlands is a relatively easy task, but there are many shortcuts and tips for expats that I know and would like to share.
